Pe mine ma amuza tare aceasta lentil soup pe care colega mea indianca o serveste cu sfintenie in fiecare zi la lunchtime....dar pana la urma de gustibus, nu???? Prefer vorba cuiva de mai sus....ciorba neaosa de fasole.....

vreau sa fac si eu reteta asta dar nu vreau sa iasa un alien daca nu descifrez bine.
2 tbssp olive oil
1 garlic clove,finely chopped
225 g/8 oz fresh or frozen chicken livers
4 fresh sage leaves,finely chopped or 1 tsp dried,crumbled sage
2 tbsp white wine
2 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper
4 slices ciabatta or other Italian bread
wedges of lemon , to garnish
1. heat the olive oil in a frying pan (skillet) and cook the garlic for 1 minute.
2. rinse and roughly chop the chicken livers,using a sharp knife.
3. add the chicken liver to the frying pan (skillet) togheter with the wine and lemon juice. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the juice from the chicken liver run clear.
4. stir in the sage and season to taste with salt and pepper
5. under a preheated grill (broiler) , toast the bread or until golden-brown.
6. Spoon the hot chicken livers on top of the toasted bread and serve garnished with a wedge of lemon.
COOK’S tip
Overcooked liver is dry and tasteless. Cook the chopped liver for only 3-4 minutes-it should be soft and tender.

2 linguri ulei de masline
1 catzel de usturoi tocat marunt
225 g/8 oz ficatei de gaina proaspeti sau congelati
4 frunze de salvie(??) proaspata, tocate marunt sau 1 lingurita de salvie (??) uscata
4 linguri vin alb
2 linguri suc de lamiae
sare si piper
4 felii de “chiabbata” sau alta paine italiana
felii de lamaie pentru ornament
1. incalzeste uleiul intr-o tigaie si caleste usturoiul timp de 1 min
2. clateste si taie ficateii in bucati maricele folosind un cutit ascutit (n.t de parca s-ar putea taia mai bine cu ciobul)
3. adauga ficateii cu vinul si lamaia si le gatesti pentru 3-4 minute sau pana sucul din gaina devine limpede
4. amesteca salvia si pune sare si piper de gust
5. prajesti painea pana capata culoarea maro-aurie (pe gratar sau in toaster)
6. pui cu o lingura ficateii de pasare pe feliile de paine si pui deasupra ca ornament feliile de lamaie.
tip:
ficatul prajit prea mult n-are gust si este uscat. Ca sa fie moale il gatesti pentru 3-4 min.
