Uite reteta...este din Cooks Illustrated (sint abonata):
This dish is best when prepared with whole-milk yogurt, but low-fat yogurt can be substituted. For a spicier dish, do not remove the ribs and seeds from the chile. If you prefer, substitute 2 teaspoons ground coriander, 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper for the garam masala. The sauce can be made ahead, refrigerated for up to 4 days in an airtight container, and gently reheated before adding the hot chicken. Serve with basmati rice.
Ingredients
Chicken Tikka
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon table salt
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts , trimmed of fat
1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt (see note above)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 medium garlic cloves , minced or pressed through a garlic press (about 2 teaspoons)
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
Masala Sauce
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium onion , diced fine (about 1 1/4 cups)
2 medium garlic cloves , minced or pressed through a garlic press (about 2 teaspoons)
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
1 fresh serrano chile , ribs and seeds removed, flesh minced (see note above)
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon garam masala (see note above)
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon table salt
2/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions
1. FOR THE CHICKEN: Combine cumin, coriander, cayenne, and salt in small bowl. Sprinkle both sides of chicken with spice mixture, pressing gently so mixture adheres. Place chicken on plate, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes. In large bowl, whisk together yogurt, oil, garlic, and ginger; set aside.
2. FOR THE SAUCE: Heat oil in large Dutch oven over medium heat until shimmering. Add onion and cook, stirring frequently, until light golden, 8 to 10 minutes. Add garlic, ginger, chile, tomato paste, and garam masala; cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, sugar, and salt; bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in cream and return to simmer. Remove pan from heat and cover to keep warm.
3. While sauce simmers, adjust oven rack to upper-middle position (about 6 inches from heating element) and heat broiler. Using tongs, dip chicken into yogurt mixture (chicken should be coated with thick layer of yogurt) and arrange on wire rack set in foil-lined rimmed baking sheet or broiler pan. Discard excess yogurt mixture. Broil chicken until thickest parts register 160 degrees on instant-read thermometer and exterior is lightly charred in spots, 10 to 18 minutes, flipping chicken halfway through cooking.
4. Let chicken rest 5 minutes, then cut into 1-inch chunks and stir into warm sauce (do not simmer chicken in sauce). Stir in cilantro, adjust seasoning with salt, and serve.

Suna tare bine! Multumesc pentru reteta, sa vad cind adun toate ingredientele.
Imi place si mie Cooks Illustrated, am citeva numere si cred ca ar merita un abonament.
Zi-mi si cu puiul ala afumat. Cum pregatesti carnea inainte s-o pui la afumat?

Cu afumatoarea fac asa:
Iau un muschi de porc...il las peste noapte in apa cu sare, zahar brun, usturoi pisat, piper si Worchestshire sauce.
Dimineata in usuc in paper towel, il dau cu smoked paprika, sare si piper, il leg strins cu sfoara si il pun la afumatoare...sa fie temperatura cam la 250 de grade. Eu pun mesquite chips peste carbuni. Dureaza cam 6 ore (carbuni trebuie schimbati o data). Iese exact cu un muschi file de la Muncan
Puil doar il spintec in doua...il dau cu sare il pun la afumat. Dureaza cam 4 ore si este delicios.

Foarte fain, astea le facem neaparat. Acum ma gindesc ca mi-ar trebui o masinarie din aia electrica sa tai felii subtiri. Ma duc sa dau o raita pe net.

Ramona Lasagna am facut-o dupa propria inspiratie ca am tot citit peste tot si am spicuit din toate cite ceva dar nu am respectat o reteta anume.
Dar eu scriu cum am facut-o:
Lasagna cu spanac.
Spanacul spalat, fiert, scurs, taiat. Intr-o tigaie am pus 2 tbs ulei masline am aruncat o ceapa taiata cubulete, 5-6 catei de usturoi pisati i-am aurit un pic apoi am aruncat spanacul peste plus un pic de zeama de la spanac si am lasat sa mai fiarba impreuna 10 minute.
Separat am facut sosul Bechamel : 3-4 tbs unt, 3 tbs faina se amesteca cu atentie sa nu se faca cocoloase, apoi se adauga un cup lapte si se da citeva clocote mestecind tot timpul, am mai aruncat si un pumn de 4 cheeses shreded pina s-a omogenizat bine, am pus sare, piper si am oprit focul. Se incepe ansamblarea lasagnei:
primul strat pe vas sos bechamel, foi lasagna,sos bechamel, spanac, mozarela rasa si iar foi lasagna,sos bechamel, spanac, mozarela. Eu am facut 5 straturi ultimul fiind de spanac , mozarela si am turnat deasupra restul de bechamel. Se acopera vasul cu folie se da la cuptor pe 400F ptr 30 minute si apoi inca 10 descoperita.

Multumesc Vio, o sa ma inspir dupa reteta asta si incerc un soi de pasta casserole, ca din astea am.
Chiar ma gindeam ce sa fac cu spanacul ala. Eu il folosesc mai mult la salate, dar mi-a placut mult cum arata lasagna ta.
Deocamdata fac o pizza cu copiii.

e foarte buna, am incercat-o de pasti si mi-a iesit super buna; nu e tare greu de facut. Parca pusesem poze cu ea la album...

relelor, mi-ati facut o pofta cu afumatura...da' ma consolez ca cica ar cauza cancer de stomac. hahaha...am citit eu pe undeva si de-atunci nu-mi mai da voie sotul sa cumpar, desi mie imi place mult la varza sau fasole, dar cum alaptez nu pot manca nici de una.
eu am facut ciuperci cu smantana si de dorul creierului prajit, ca tot scria cineva, am prajit sweetbreads.

eu am facut pui cu smantana si ciupercile alea umplute. vreo cateva week-enduri la rand am facut ciorba de vita (am avut leustean proaspat adus de soacra), mai niste gratare, hamburgeri, king crab legs cu unt si cam atat.
mirela, ce m-as baga si eu la fasole dar mi=e frica cu alaptatul...
